Hi I'm Robert Lancaster

I was born in Texas but I have enjoyed the Rocky Mountains of Colorado and Idaho since 1970. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I work in the Utility Industry and travel extensively in my profession. I enjoy hiking in the Rocky Mountains, fishing the high mountain streams and lakes and enjoying the beauty of of the mountains. We enjoy snowmobiling in the winter with frequent trips to Myrtle Beach South Carolina to visit our children.

Why I am a Mormon

I was first introduced to the Mormon Religion while serving in the US Navy in Idaho. I respected the families that I met in Idaho on my first assignment at the Navy Nuclear Training facility in Idaho. On my second assignment in Idaho, I met my wife, a beautiful Mormon Lady. It did take some time for me to understand and accept the Mormon religion and the peace and harmony it brings into my life. As I have studied and grown spiritually, I now more fully understand our Heavenly fathers plan for our salvation. I now have a much deeper understanding of the atonement and what Jesus Christ has done to ensure our salvation. I at first had difficulty with the Word of Wisdom but now understand the blessings it brings into our lives.

How I live my faith

I have served in several areas of the Church since joining over 20 year ago. Most of my service has been with the young men and women of the Church. We attend Church every Sunday, even when traveling or on vacation. I look forward to Sunday and the opportunity to meeting with other LDS members who love the Lord. I have attended Church in Malaysia, Canada, and Hawaii along with many cities in the USA. My wife and I enjoy attending the LDS temples where ever we travel. As a family we refrain from drinking alcohol or the use of tobacco and attempt to maintain a balance in the foods we eat.
