Hi I'm Josh

I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am married and a father of three wonderful children. My family is what drives me. I have an MBA and three undergraduate degrees. I work in the accounting and finance field. I have ten plus years professional work experience. I am always attempting to advance my career while balancing family and church life. Family comes first.

Why I am a Mormon

Being an active and participating member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints is fundamental to who I am. It is because I believe in the teachings and principles of the Gospel. I have received a personal witness of it. If I believe it, I should try to live it the best I can. Living by its principles brings me and my family lasting joy and happiness. It isn't always easy to follow the gospel or dedicate the time necessary to serve others, however the short of it is that it provides long-term fulfillment. I can't think of any better way to raise my children then helping them build a personal relationship with their Savior Jesus Christ. I don't Facebook, Tweet or get involved in sharing things about myself with people I don't know. However, in tandem with my family, the Gospel of Jesus Christ is what I hold most precious and dear. As such, I offer to share my thoughts with you because I know from personal experience the joy and fulfillment it can bring to you and yours.

How I live my faith

Currently in my ward I serve as president of group of sixty plus men ages 20-50+. My role is to guide and mentor these men in being good and righteous husbands and fathers in the home, to encourage and uplift others around me (It's hard to do that when I feel so inadequate myself, but in-spite of myself I try). In addition, this group of men serves as a service organization to lift those in need. We do various service projects such as help with yard clean-ups, replace roofs, help people move or serve in any way we can. I coordinate with other leader in the ward to fulfill the objectives of the ward in which I participate.
