Hi I'm Gina

I am a lover of culture such as music and art. I am a researcher and love to learn. I am happily married and I am a Mormon.

About Me

Hi! My name is Gina and I am a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. I converted to the church back in 2001 and I love being a member of Christ's church. I am a student and I believe learning goes beyond what's found in a text book, so I yearn for learning all I can everywhere! Whatever peaks my interest, I am all over the map researching all about it! :) Some of my hobbies that I enjoy is listening to music. I like all kinds of music! Lindsey Stirling is amongst one of my most favorite violinists. As a dancer, her music speaks to my soul. :) I love to listen to music that lifts me up and music that makes my bones want to dance! Ha. Other hobbies I enjoy is photography, writing, blogging, talking (can that be a hobby? I think so!), I love the outdoors and the beauty that Heavenly Father has created all around me, I love to exercise, help people, and overall just enjoy life! (: I am into alternative/holistic ways of approaching things such as medicine and overall health. ~ I am a little different than some and that is okay. My Heavenly Father accepts me and loves me. I know who I am and where I want to be in this life and the next. I am a bisexual Mormon. It's something I used to beat myself up for being; however, it's not my fault. Heavenly Father has all the answers and therefore, I will follow Him. I am married to my BEST friend in the LDS Temple. We are sealed for time and all eternity. My lovely husband also accepts me. We are starting a family! Yay!

Why I am a Mormon

Why I am a Mormon. I have often struggled with my testimony. Especially, as a teenager. I'd like to think I am not the only one that has struggled with their testimony. I am a Mormon because I LOVE what this church stands for. It is not run by man. It is run by God, our Father in Heaven. As I have prayed and inquired my Father in Heaven in the name of Jesus Christ on whether the church is true or not, each time I have knelt in prayer I have felt so much peace. My heart became full and I have seen miracles in my own life that tells me the church, the gospel is true. Being a Mormon, I am not just a Mormon. I am a Christian. I am a Mormon because we implement the gospel of Jesus Christ as the center of our religion. Jesus Christ is the head of our church. We exercise our faith by sharing the gospel with others, striving daily to live the gospel principles of Jesus Christ individually and together with our loved one's. This church is truly the restored church of the gospel of Jesus Christ. It's in its fullness the way Heavenly Father intended. I know the church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints is true. I know it because in my own life, I have experienced the answers and felt it for myself. I am a Mormon because in this religion, I know I am a beloved daughter of God. I know I am royalty. I am His. I am a Child of God. I know He loves me. He knows me. He understands me. He hears me. I am a Mormon because this is Jesus Christ's church and I have found great peace and wholeness.

How I live my faith

How I live my faith? Gee. How does one answer it in 1500 characters? Ha. (: Well, I live my faith this way. I sustain Jesus Christ as my Savior and as my brother. I sustain Heavenly Father as my father in Heaven. With everything that I do, I do my best to put my faith in my Heavenly Father through Jesus Christ. With each day that arises has a new set of challenges. Sometimes I fall and other days I am quite successful. With each day that passes, I can either exercise faith or I can exercise doubt. Usually doubt leaves me empty. So, I choose to live by faith. As a bisexual Mormon, I choose to live a lifestyle that my Heavenly Father condones. It's a choice I have made in my own life. I do not practice the homosexual lifestyle at all. Instead, I focus on my testimony and friendship with my Father in Heaven. How do I live by faith as a bisexual Mormon? Well, even though I do not understand why I have these tendencies, my father in Heaven does. He created me. I live by faith by striving daily to live my life in a way that is in harmony with my Father in Heaven. I know that when Christ comes again, certain questions I have will be answered and I will be able to have a perfect understanding of these things. Living my faith in my Father in Heaven and the gospel of Jesus Christ has brought me pure happiness and so many blessings! I am not perfect, granted, I do make mistakes. However, I am grateful for everything the gospel of Jesus Christ stands for. I am grateful I stand alongside.
