Hi I'm Dan

I live in New York. I teach Latin. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I live in a small town with my beautiful wife and our energetic son. I teach middle and high school Latin and English. As a family, we love to take walks, play tennis, and watch movies together.

Why I am a Mormon

I grew up as a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. As I grew up, I learned to pray more and rely on Heavenly Father. I learned that studying the scriptures will help me make correct choices in life. And I learned that Jesus Christ is my Redeemer. I have noticed over the years that the more fully I keep the commandments, the happier my life can be.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by serving in my church congregation. I attend church each week, sometimes teaching a youth class. I visit members in their homes. I always try to be available for service, such as helping someone move or do work on their home. I try to be a positive example to those around me and show the joy that I have because of the gospel.

How can I know Mormonism is true?

The best way to know of Mormonism is true is to ask God. When I was a teenager, I wanted to know if Mormonism was true. I read the Book of Mormon and then I prayed. As I prayed, I knew that it was true. Show more Show less
