Hi I'm Kristin

I was raised on the East Coast, I'm a college student, and I love life. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am a college student studying Human Development. I hope to be able to one day help people with what I am learning. I love being around people. I like to play sports and board games. I am an amateur photographer. I did most of my growing up in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.

Why I am a Mormon

I started going to church because my parents took me, but I continue on as a Mormon because I know for myself that The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints is true. As I have continually knelt in prayer with my Heavenly Father and studied His words, I have been assured time and time again that what I am practicing is good and of God. Prayer really does bring answers, even if they do not always come in a way that we would expect. With the scriptures, modern-day revelation, and the gift of personal revelation through the Holy Ghost, the gospel offers so many sources for comfort and peace in my life. The gospel is undoubtedly my ultimate source of happiness. I am truly happy.

How I live my faith

I am able to actively participate in my church by not only attending once a week, but also through attending activities and getting to know other members of my ward or congregation. I have been asked to be in charge of planning activities outside of Sunday meetings for my ward. I also have the opportunity to visit two specific girls at least once a month to see how they are doing and discuss some gospel topic with them. By having assignments such as these, I am able to get to know wonderful people who I otherwise would hardly know.
