Hi I'm Austin

I'm a Mormon. I'm from Seattle, WA. I am currently studying mechanical engineering.

About Me

I am a student of mechanical engineering. I actually really enjoy school. I love the feeling of always learning something new. I try to make reading ahobby in my life. I also love simple physical exercise.

Why I am a Mormon

I know that the Gospel of Jesus Christ leads us to happiness. I believe that it is the only way to true and lasting happiness. I love the knowledge that we have a Heavenly Father who loves us. The knowledge that He has established His church on the Earth in this day and age show His great love for us.

How I live my faith

I love the service opportunities presented to me as a member of the church. I know the members of my local ward and they are my friends. I'm new to the area I stay in now and when I moved here I knew no one. I love how friendly and accepting the ward has been to me. I serve in the ward by implementing ideas to help members of the church reach out in Christ-like love to everyone around them.

Why don’t Mormons have paid clergy?

To answer this question I just want to share the feelings i have received from my personal experiences. Serving in the church has been one of the greatest blessings in my life. Of course I have never been paid. The sacrifice of time and resources has deepened my understanding of the Savior's love for us. When I face challenges in my life, it is often through selfless service that I am able to feel peace. Show more Show less
