Hi I'm Lawrence Patrick McNabb III

I'm a soldier, I'm a brother, I'm a sinner, I'm a convert and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I'm a combat medic in the California Army National guard currently training to try out of the Army Special Forces. My love for the Army is only second to my love for Christ. I was formerly Christian Non Denominational but Converted to The Church of Jesus Christ Latter Day Saints. America is the greatest country in the world and I wouldn't want to live anywhere else. When the Olympics come around, I will be watching 24/7. I also like to watch Football and UFC. Favorite fighter is Randy Couture and my football team is the Oakland Raiders.

Why I am a Mormon

When I first walked into the church and talked to the Bishop I told him I wasn't here to convert. I was here to learn about Christ and I was going to let Christ lead me to the Church or back to my old church. Sure enough after 2 months of investigating God sent me a sign that this is where I was supposed to be. I had been baptized before but I didn't feel any difference but, when I got baptized this time the next morning when I woke up. I felt like the past was behind me and I could start my life with Jesus guiding my way to true happiness.

How I live my faith

The Lord has given us ways to strengthen our faith. When I was first started my investigation I sought out these ways to strengthen my faith and slowly as I am faithful the Lord has lead my way to him.
