Hi I'm Beau N. P.

I was born and raised on Oahu, Hawaii. I have been a Member all my life. I enjoy sharing the gospel with others. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

Aloha! I am part Hawaiian, among a few others. I am the fourth child of seven children. I have five brothers and one sister. I have worked as a Counter Salesman/ASE Parts Specialist for a Local NAPA Auto Parts Store for 7 years and 17 days. I enjoy working on vehicles, building Model Helicopters and Air Planes, going out to movies with my family and friends. I really enjoy being with my younger and ONLY sister a lot, and sharing good times together as well as being with a couple of my older and younger cousins. My sister has been nick-named by my friends "Mini-Mom", because she is always looking out for our wellbeing. I also enjoy working on and installing Car Audio Sound systems. And I LOVE TO COOK and EAT FOOD! That's just a few of my hobbies I enjoy doing on my spare time and such. I served as Second Counselor in my home wards Elder's Quorum from 2007 to April 2012. I am an Eagle Scout, and earned my Duty to God award. And now, as of April 25, 2012, am currently serving a full-time mission in the Nevada Reno Mission. I Love My Ohana! \!!!/

Why I am a Mormon

First off, I am not perfect. No one is. That's what I love about the gospel, we can change and become better people. I have come to know for myself the truth of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints from the teachings of the Book of Mormon and the Holy Bible. My parents have always taught me to trust in the Lord, say my Prayers both personal and with the family, and read my scriptures daily. I know if we take upon ourselves the effort to find out if this Gospel is true, the Lord will help us through the Holy Ghost know without a shadow of a doubt that we are in His true church. In the Holy Bible in the book of James chapter 2 it talks about "Faith without works, is dead..." I know, that as I put forth my effort to work by my faith along with the Lord, Jesus Christ, I know He will hear and answer my prayers as well as those who follow the counsel given in the book of James chapter 1:5 "If any of you lack wisdom, let him ask of God, that giveth to all men liberally, and upbraideth not; and it shall be givin him." When I have struggled with things and had a hard time with something, I have knelt in prayer and asked for help. And because of my faith, and by my works putting forth effort to search out the answer to what ever it was I needed help with, I was able to receive that help I needed from people I knew like my parents or other family members and friends to accomplish what it was I needed to do. I share this in the name of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, Amen.

How I live my faith

In my ward, I held positions where I would prepare teaching lessons every Sunday for a class. I have held callings from my time as a youth to my adulthood. I have participated in community events a service projects, organized youth service projects within the community where I live. I was a Boy Scout and earned the highest honor that a Boy Scout could achieve which is the Eagle Scout Award. For my Eagle Project, I planned out a hiking trail restoration where it was used by fisherman to spot schools of fish in the ocean bay below. In my time as a Boy Scout, I was able to help teach younger youth and help them on their track to Eagle, and I still continue to help and teach other Young Men/Scouts and Young Women to learn new skills that they will later someday be able to look back on and apply in things they will do as I have done many times growing up. For the past 6 years from 2007-2012, I have worked with other people of the church to put on and host events that invite out people from the community so they could come out and enjoy, free food, music, games, and friends company. And I look forward to many more years of service both in the Church as well as in what ever Community I may be in.
