Hi I'm Mark

I grew up in Utah and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I love taking things apart and putting them back together. I'm about a month away from finishing my undergraduate degree in Mechanical Engineering. I have a passion for the acquisition of knowledge. I love reading, I love being outside. I love ballroom and country dancing. I play the trombone and love music. I love motorcycles. Calvin and Hobbes is the best comic strip ever printed.

Why I am a Mormon

I follow the Gospel of Jesus Christ because it is the source of all happiness. The more effort I exert to follow the teachings of Christ, the more peace of conscience I have. I've found that enduring happiness, a day to day contentment with myself and the direction that my life is going, comes from an earnest belief in, and sincere efforts to become like, Christ. I can confidently say that every good thing I have received in my life has been a result of my obedience to the commands of God.

How I live my faith

As a member of the Mormon church, I have served as a member of our ward choir. I have been able to serve many individuals in the wards I've been in by visiting them, helping with whatever difficulties or challenges they have been facing in life. I have served as a full-time missionary in the Dominican Republic. While there, it was my privilege to brighten the lives of many people. I support the efforts of other ward members in attending activities they plan and doing what I can to help them fulfill their own callings.
