Hi I'm Camilla

I am a children's dance teacher. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am a Brigham Young University -Idaho Graduate in Child Development with a minor in Dance Education. I am now teaching creative dance to young children. In which I help children learn the fundamentals of dance while encouraging them to be creative and express them selves. I have been teaching for over four years now and love watching these children develop and grow. Also I enjoy going camping, hiking and traveling. I have traveled to most of the States in the Continental United States through doing this I have loved meeting many different people and learning from them. I am also going back to school for a second undergrad so as to better support my self, this time I am studying Graphic Design.

Why I am a Mormon

I was born into the church and raised by faithful parents. Parents that taught me from day one the importance of what it is to be a Mormon or a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. Like every child I borrowed my faith from my parents and believed the things they told me. Yet, I as grew my parents encouraged me to discover for my self what it was I truly believe and gain a testimony for my self. Life is hard and challenges come to each of us I am no exceptions. As I began the journey of finding my testimony and over coming my age appropriate challenges. I put into practice the principles that I was taught and tested them and they worked. Ever so slowly I have become stronger and a happier as I have put into practice those principles of goodness. My testimony of the truthfulness was not one moment that I can pin down and say this is when my life changed. It is instead made up of many almost seeming less unimportant events that have built up much like a tiny seed can grow into a large tree with deep roots. These principles I was taught are centered around Jesus Christ and so I and my life is centered around him as well, because of this I have a richer happier life and am filled with gratitude toward my Savior.

How I live my faith

I am a member of a Young Single Adult community with in the church as such I have accepted the responsibly to help organize weekly activities on Monday nights to bring us closer and build relationships with one another where as many of us are not close to our own families and we are working or going to school. This way we all have a larger support system that we can lean on and help others. These Monday night activities can typically contain a religious messages to strengthen us spiritually and then some sort of interactive and fun activity and then of course ending with treats!
