Hi I'm Jessica

I grew up in New Jersey. I love music and sports. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am a student studying Therapeutic Recreation and Spanish. I served a mission for my church in Argentina for 18 months and I love the culture there. I am the 4th of 5 kids and I love my family. Some of my interests include the outdoors and going on adventures, playing sports, dancing, music, photography, and going to the beach. I play the piano and the guitar. If I'm not involved in those things, I'm probably playing with my nieces or passing time with friends. I love learning about and visiting new cultures and I love to laugh.

Why I am a Mormon

I am Mormon because it teaches me how to find true happiness. It helps me to understand my purpose here on earth and to help me have a greater perspective. It lifts me up during the tough times and gives me the strength to keep going through difficulties. It helps me to follow the example of Jesus Christ by serving those around me and striving to have a heart full of love. Understanding my purpose here helps me to work diligently, do good, and strive to always be better. I am far from perfect, but understanding the Gospel of Jesus Christ allows me to overcome my weakness and find joy and happiness in following the Savior.

How I live my faith

Living my faith daily is something that I strive to do. I do so by reading the Book of Mormon, praying, and attending church. At church, I teach a class to help future missionaries prepare to go serve missions throughout the world. When other opportunities arise to serve, I try and take those opportunities. I strive to be an example to those around me by living by my standards and trying to emulate the Savior's love.
