Hi I'm Larissa

I grew up in Arizona. I play college tennis. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am a student athlete at a small university in southern california, and am a biochemistry major in my first year of school. I love crafting, cooking, reading, hangingout with friends, playing sports, and hiking. I am the youngest of four and have been blessed with a family that loves me and has taught me so much in my life and have always been there for me.

Why I am a Mormon

I love this church so much! I was raised with parents who were members of the church and they taught me at a young age the basic principles of faith, repentance, love, and following the example of our savior, Jesus Christ. As i have grown i have come to fully understand the significance these principles in my life. By living these teachings, as well as the other teachings of the church, i have felt the peace and comfort of the savior and his presence daily in my life. I love this church so much. The blessings that come from living its teachings are indescribable. I know that my savior lives and loves me. I know that Thomas S Monson, the living prophet of this church is a man of God and receives instruction directly from Heavenly Father. I know that Joseph Smith translated the Book of Mormon through divine inspiration and help from God. Every time I read the Book of Mormon I am reminded of the peace and happiness that we can have when we follow the footsteps of our savior and his teachings.

How I live my faith

I am very active in the church and used to be a teacher for the 2-3 year olds at church. I participate in service activities often within the community, and always try to find ways to serve others around me. I also have a current calling as a visiting teacher and visit with various women within our congregation on a monthly basis.
