Hi I'm Jevonn Wiberg

I live in Spokane, WA. I enjoy golfing, hiking, and spending time with my family, and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

My wife and I have been married for more than 20 years. We are the parents of four wonderful daughters that are the joy of our lives. I served my mission in Phoenix, AZ. I did my undergraduate and graduate work at Washington State University. I currently work at UPS. I love to be outside working in the yard or hiking in the mountains in our area. I look forward to traveling with my wife and going on a mission with her after I retire.

Why I am a Mormon

I was asked during a work lunch last week if the reason I am Mormon is because I was born into an LDS family. It is true that my parents are Mormon, and that theirs were too. He wanted to know if I would choose to be Mormon if I wasn't born into a Mormon family. Although I can't answer his question directly, I believe I choose to be a Mormon every day. I feel Heavenly Father's spirit, the Holy Ghost, when I live correct principles, and it makes me happy and witnesses to me that the things that I believe are true. My family is the most important thing I have in my life and through temple ordinances I know I will have my family with me forever. There is nothing else in this world that could bring me as much incredible joy as this knowledge.

How I live my faith

I have had many church responsibilities, including sunday school teacher, seminary teacher, and scout master. Currently I am a cub scout leader. My favorite responsibilities in the church have been working with the youth - I love their enthusiasm and moral strength.
