Hi I'm Daniel

I love my wife, my six beautiful children, and Jesus Christ. I love to garden, build, and fight for the liberty of all men.

About Me

I have six brothers and sisters and have been taught to love family. I attended only three years of elementary school during my young years. My parents guided me on a wonderful path toward a life of learning. I studied three years at George Wythe College and received a great addition to my life in terms of learning. Growing up I was taught by my father and mother to love work. Through their example they set my feet on the path of learning and loving to learn all those things that are of great and eternal worth. My father taught me many skills such as carpentry, farming and a desire to always do my best. I very much enjoyed involvement in the Boy Scouts of America. Scouting has blessed my life by adding knowledge and skill to my character. I attained the rank of eagle scout. I am now a father of six wonderful children. I enjoy working and building things of value. Teaching my children is one of my primary responsibilities and concerns. I teach my children at home. We love to do everything as a family. I am an American Patriot. Teaching the truths of God that have created the miracle of American liberty is also one of my passions in life. I have run for political office and am always involved in civic affairs. I love to read. I read the topics of religion, freedom, and gardening mostly.

Why I am a Mormon

I was born into a family of faith. As far as I know the family to which I belong, for the most part must have been very faithful seekers of truth. Much of my family for the last five to seven generations have been members of The Church of Jesus Christ of Later-Day Saints (Mormon Church). My family history shows that before my ancestors joined the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints they were very religious and now that tradition still continues. I have been raised in the church. Through the course of my life I have received for myself a knowledge that The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints is the church that our Savior Jesus Christ has restored to the earth for the purpose of bringing salvation to the children of our Father in Heaven. I believe that Jesus Christ has restored authority to the earth to officiate in the ordinances of His gospel and that this authority is found only in the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. I experience great happiness in my life through obedience to the laws and ordinances of the gospel of Jesus Christ. I feel His spirit as I strive to be obedient. I can see the fruits of the spirit in my life and in the lives of my family.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by learning the laws of God and obeying them. I read and study the word of God as revealed to us through scripture and I strive to apply it in my life. Daily scripture study is important to me. I teach my children the gospel of Jesus Christ. I head the academic instruction of my children. I have endeavored to establish family traditions of self reliance, and a life-style that is Godly. I strive to follow counsel that God gives to me through the prophets he has called in all ages. I share the gospel of Jesus Christ with others. I teach the principles of freedom to as many as I can. I know that God is the Author of Liberty. I am active in politics. I disseminate books and other literature that I consider to be "scriptures of liberty". I take advantage of opportunities to be of service to all I can
