Hi I'm Kelson Stephenson

I love saxophone, Frisbee, cross country and Ukraine and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

Right now I am in Ukraine serving a mission which is great. I really love being outside no matter what the weather is like except when it is windy. Before my mission I was going to college at BYU (I bleed blue) eating way too much bacon and deciding whether I want to go into medical research or advertising, maybe I will go into medical advertising. I come from a big family of seven children (including me) and I love em to death. I love reading, cross country, Frisbee (one reason I don't like wind), and saxophone. But unfortunately I don't have a lot of chances to play the saxophone here. I guess mom was right when she said to learn the piano. I love the cold and snow so I am really excited for the winter here in Ukraine it should be a blast.

Why I am a Mormon

I have gained my own testimony of the truthfulness of the gospel through the power of the holy ghost and by trying to live my faith daily. I don't really have a dramatic conversion story I just remember reading the Book of Mormon at a young age and asking god in prayer to know if it was true and receiving a calming assurance from our Heavenly Father that it was. Every since then I have seen the endless stream of blessings it has brought into my life and the miracles it has worked around me both big and small. I have a hard time imagining living my life without the peace that the gospel brings.

How I live my faith

I have always tried to be an active member of my church and my community right now I am serving a mission In Ukraine and it is has definitely been changing my view of the world. The people here are great, I especially love the Бабусі and how generous the everyone is. We are telling our message to anyone that will hear it but we try to help others anyway we can. In the church here we help teach quite a few classes and try to help take care of the building we meet in. The best way of getting to love someone else is to serve them.
