Hi I'm T. Dean Christensen

I live in Utah. I am in business. I am a Mormon!

About Me

I love to golf and go four-wheeling in the mountains. I have pretty much traveled the world and have learned to love all people. I'm married and have five children and twelve grandchildren.

Why I am a Mormon

I'm a Mormon because I know that the teachings taught in this Church are true. If someone asked you what salt tastes like.....you could tell them what it was like with your own vocabulary, but they still wouldn't know what it tastes like until they tasted it. It's the same way with me and the Gospel of Jesus Christ as taught in this Church.....I have studied and prayed about it and now KNOW that it is true. Those that haven't gone through the same process as me cannot understand how "I KNOW". They think I just have a stong belief.....it is not only a strong belief....it is "absolute". It is something that I just know for sure. The Book of Mormon is a second witness to Jesus Christ....the Bible being a first witness. When read together, these two books open up all of life's meaning and the whole plan of a loving Heavenly Father that wants us all to come back and live with Him. When read together, these two books also bring meaning and understanding of all that exists. All of a sudden you can know where you came from, why you are here, and where you can go after this life. All of the planets, the solar system, worlds without number and even this earth can be understood when cross referenced with the scriptures. The Gospel of Jesus Christ is marvelous. It is wonderful. I love it. I'm grateful for it. I wouldn't trade my knowledge of it for anything. I KNOW THAT IT IS TRUE.

How I live my faith

I have always accepted any calls that came to me from my leaders in the Church. I have served in pretty much every calling that there is in the Ward. I have been a Bishop in our Ward. I have served on the High Council of the Stake. My wife and I served three years as President of the Los Angeles Mission where we presided over approximately 200 missionaries. We served a mission in the Jacksonville-Florida Mission for seven months when we were called to Johannesburg South Africa to serve as President of the Missionary Training Center there. We served there for two years. I am now back in my home and trying to help the Savior's work move forward in any way that I can. I love this work. I love my Savior. I hope that some day He will feel that I have helped His cause.
