Hi I'm Josh Jensen

I was born in California, then moved to Utah. I am serving a mission in Vancouver Canada speaking Mandarin Chinese. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I set aside studying Computer Science at Brigham Young University Hawaii to serve my mission in Vancouver Canada speaking the Mandarin Chinese Language. I like to do anything out side, but it is also nice to have some indoor time. I played football and golf in High School. Snowboarding is the greatest thing ever invented! I love to laugh and make jokes.

Why I am a Mormon

I was raised being taught the principles of the church of Jesus Christ. However, while serving my mission I have both lost my testimony and gained it back many times. I am happy to have the testimony I have now. Because of my testimony of our Redeemer Jesus Christ and my testimony of the restoration of his church in these days, I know that by living the teachings of Christ that my life can be improved and that one day I can return to live with our Heavenly Father. I am a Mormon because I believe in the principle of agency and how it affects our eternal salvation. Only through correct choices can we learn to apply the gift that Christ gave us so willingly, the atonement. He loves us so much and wants us to succeed, which is why he has given us so many gifts and opportunities in this life. I believe that to be true!

How I live my faith

I live my faith by obeying the commandments and staying morally clean. I hope that I set an example for those around me. I also like to try to find others that don't have the gospel or aren't as strong in it and attempt to bring them closer. Serving a mission will allows me to do this 24/7.
