Hi I'm Jamison Robinett

I grew up in Syracuse, Utah. I am a fly-fisher, and I am a Chinese food lover. I am a missionary in Kyiv, Ukraine. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am currently on a full-time mission in The Kyiv, Ukraine Mission. I am speaking the Ukrainian language, and I love it. When I finish my mission, I plan to return to my home in Utah, and start studying Medicine. At the end of my lifetime of studies, I plan on being some kind of Orthopedic Surgeon. I am very big into the outdoors. I fly-fish, go hunting often, and love to go camping with my family. I am also very big into sports, I am the typical ex-high school athlete who now sits on the couch, and talks about how "I was going to go to the bigs." Cheap Chinese Restaurants and gas station fountain drinks work wonders in my life. I have an awesome family. I am the third of four kids, and we love eachother very much! Our favorite thing to do is all be together in the back yard on a Summer Night, and let our dad barbeque for us! Seeing my older siblings with their own families makes me really excited to have one of my own one day! I have had an amazing life thus far, and every day I am thankful to my Heavenly Father for giving it!

Why I am a Mormon

Why I am a Mormon? I was born into this church, but I have come to gain a knowledge on my own that this is the true church of Jesus Christ on the earth today. I have seen the blessings that this church gives people. This church and the knowledge it has, gives me true happiness. I know that everyday I can become a better person, and I know that everyday I can be forgiven of my many little mistakes. This church gives me the knowledge of who I really can become, and gives me everything that I need to help me along the way. You can simply tell when the light of the gospel is in somebodies life, and I always see that happening in this church. I have not always had the light of gospel in my life, and I regret waiting so long to have it. Being a Mormon, I know I have a Savior, and He loves me. I know that I have an eternal plan and purpose, and I know what I need to do to fulfill it. I know without a doubt that this church is true, and that is why I am a Mormon.

How I live my faith

I am right now living my faith as a full-time missionary for our church. I love it. It brings me true happiness sharing these simple gospel truths with others, and my testimony grows every day because of it. I feel like besides being a Missionary I live my faith through example. I always try to be somebody that people can look to in times of need and really feel my spirit as something that lifts them up. As a youth so far, I lived my faith through attending our seminary program, and also our youth programs! I was called to be a leader in our Priesthood Quoroms, and I always tried my hardest to do as much as I could to fulfill my callings. I was also blessed to be one of few members of this church in my group of friends, so I always had the opportunity to show them how we live the gospel, and had many opportunities to share it with them.
