Hi I'm John.

I'm an American, a business executive, a Christian...and a Mormon.

About Me

I am a husband and father of 4 children. I studied Economics in college and Marketing in graduate school, and now work as a business executive for a Fortune 20 company. I enjoy cycling, fitness training, and attending my children's sporting events. I coach my daugher's and my son's soccer teams. I currently live in the United States, but have lived and worked in Europe for several years, and traveled to over 50 countries around the world. I achieved a personal goal of visiting all 7 continents. I speak French and am interested in languages and linguistics.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints (Mormon) because I find hope, peace, and joy in living the principles of the fulness of the Gospel of Jesus Christ. My parents were already both Mormons when I was born, and I have continued in this faith throughout my life. Being raised in Massachusetts and New York, and having lived in other States and Countries, I have many friends of other faiths and I was exposed to their beliefs, but the beliefs and practices of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints have always felt right, complete, and true. I have read, studied, pondered, and prayed about these things, and have felt the reassuring confirmation of the Holy Ghost...an opportunity open to all people who seek the truth with a sincere heart and real intent.

How I live my faith

Being a Mormon is a life style, not just something you do on Sunday. I strive to obey the commandments, read scriptures and pray daily, and be an example of Jesus Christ. I teach the Gospel of Jesus Christ to my children and share it with my friends and neighbors as the occasion arises. I look for opportunities to serve others at church and in my community. Since the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints has a lay ministry, I volunteer time to work in leadership positions at church. And yes, I also attend church meetings each Sunday.
