Hi I'm Kyle

I was born and raised in Hawaii, I love my Savior, and I am a Mormon.

About Me

My name is Kyle Kila. I was born and raised on the island of Oahu in beautiful Hawaii. Since I was little I loved boxing, my father took me to a local boxing club when I was only six years old. I love wrestling, in high school I wrestled and it is hands down my favorite sport to compete in. Currently I am a student at BYU-Hawaii in Laie, Oahu. Being accepted to college has been my greatest accomplishment and blessing so far in my life. Three things that make me happy has to be #1 - the gospel of Jesus Christ, #2 - Hawaiian Reggae Music, and #3 - my family. I have a testimony in both my Savior Jesus Christ and my loving heavenly father, I am not ashamed of the gospel and I am a Mormon.

Why I am a Mormon

Both my parents are members of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints and so I was born into the church and baptized at the age of 8. My true conversion came at the age of 14 when I developed a testimony and truly learned for myself the truthfulness of the gospel.

How I live my faith

I strive my very best every day to live by the principles of the gospel. My icon is Jesus, I look up to him, and I want to be like him. The 13th article of faith states, "We believe in being honest, true, chaste, benevolent, virtuous, and in doing good to all men; indeed, we may say that we follow the admonition of Paul - We believe all things, we hope all things, we have endured many things, and hope to be able to endure all things. If there is anything virtuous, lovely, or of good report or praiseworthy, we seek after these things."
