Hi I'm Kyle

I am a student at BYU-Hawaii. I am on the soccer team and am serving my mission in Chile in July.

About Me

I am a freshman in college at BYU-Hawaii. I am on the soccer team at school and I am preparing to serve my mission in July. I was called to serve a Spanish speaking mission in the Vina del Mar, Chile mission. I am very excited about the opportunity to teach my beliefs to the people there and experience a whole different culture.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because I know it to be true. I have read the Book of Mormon and the Bible and am aware that they are the words of God. I know that Joseph Smith saw God the Father and his son, Jesus Christ in the Sacred Grove. I know that he was given the responsibility to restore the church in this dispensation. I grew up in the church, but I have grown my own testimony instead of relying on my parents. Through prayer and many personal experiences with the Holy Ghost, I have been blessed and know that this is the true church of God.

How I live my faith

I am a member of the BYUH first ward. My calling is to help in the preparation of the sacrament and bless it. I home teach two girls that are in my ward that also live on campus. It was weird, because I had never had to teach anyone else really, but when I was given the assignment to teach my peers, it was really cool. They have had a lot of the same experiences as me and are really receptive to the monthly lessons that I teach. Right now, I am preparing to serve my mission. After the semester ends I'll go home and get everything ready to leave in July for the Missionary Training Center in Provo, Utah.
