Hi I'm Shelby

I'm a Native American. I enjoy learning and snowboarding. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I have grown up in The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter- Day Saints. I come from a small family and enjoy spending time with them. I discovered snowboarding and love to spend time on the slopes whenever I get the chance. Traveling has always interested me because I get the opportunity to see and learn about a new place. My parents are divorced and it’s an interesting experience, but striving to live like Christ makes all the difference in my life.

Why I am a Mormon

I’m a Mormon because I have asked my Heavenly Father, through prayer, if this church is true. My prayers were answered by the intense feeling I felt in my heart. I know that I am a beloved daughter of God and He loves me very much, just like the rest of his children on Earth. I know that Jesus Christ is my Savior and that he is the reason I can return to live with our Father in Heaven. Having the gospel in my life has helped me through some difficult times, but also makes everything so much better. It has brought my small family closer together and gives hope to my future family.

How I live my faith

Striving to do the right things is how I live my faith. Sometimes it may be hard, but by the help of my Father in Heaven it becomes easier. Daily scripture study and prayer keeps me close to my Heavenly Father and also keeps the Holy Ghost with me.
