Hi I'm Katie Clark

I finger-paint. I am an aspiring teacher. I love life and I am a Mormon.

About Me

I currently attend BYU-Idaho and am majoring in Elementary Education. I love to play volleyball, go running and anything that involves a good adventure. Getting to know other people is the greatest. I love spending time with my friends and family. Family is super important to me. Sometimes I make things, from food to clothes to blankets. I love to visit the elderly people and also really enjoy serving people. The outdoors are my favorite, hiking and camping are what I do best. I love nature: stars, mountains, trees and a campfire. Music is my life, whether it be music on the radio or classical music on my pandora station, I love the cello and play the violin and piano.

Why I am a Mormon

I am Mormon because God lives, not lived. He speaks, not spake. I am Mormon because this life is hard and the Gospel of Jesus Christ helps me focus my life on the things that bring joy. Happiness in this life can be obtained by the principles taught and promises made to God. I am Mormon because as I live the way I am taught, I am blessed. I am Mormon because I gain strength and am able to become something so much more than I could be without it. Simple as that. I am a witness that the Book of Mormon was translated by Joseph Smith and that Thomas S. Monson is the living prophet on the earth today. I am Mormon because being Mormon makes me happy.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by forgetting about myself. I love to serving people who least expect it. I wake up every morning and spend time with God through prayer and reading the scriptures. I live my faith by the way I live my life and love other people. Everyone has a story, everyone is loved by God. I am amazed by how everyone is the same despite all of the differences. I live my faith letting go of the way I think my life should be, and do what God would have me do. I live my faith by living like Christ, doing as He did and finding joy in the journey.
