Hi I'm Bob

I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am a retired physician and adjunct professor of medicine. Ilove history. My wife and I have helped raise 7 children, 5 of whom are married with stable families and are self supporting. The other two are self supporting and unmarried. Both my wife and I are converts. She was a Lutheran and joined the Church at age 16 in a northern European Country and I converted in mid-life.

Why I am a Mormon

From my teens I had wondered why there were so many Christian sects. I found my former Church becoming more interested in "political correctness." Many of my neighbors were Mormons and their lives seemed fulfilled. Mine was not at the time. I knew that I would have to join the LDS Church to determine if it could change my life. By becoming baptized confirmed and living the principles, I found my life changing for the better. It has continued to this day. I have been asked what makes the LDS Church different from other Chirstian Churches. It is the gift of the Holy Ghost that testifies of Christ and gives us personal revelations. It is behind the foundation of the LDS Church and responsible for its continuing revelations to this day. It is available to all baptized and confirmed members who continue to live the covenants they have made with the Lord.

How I live my faith

My wife and I have recently returned from a 2 year mission in Central Europe where I was able to use my professional skills with young and older missionaries. This has further advanced my understanding of the Gospel of Jesus Christ and let me know that it is all that it claims.
