Hi I'm Austin Blair

I play basketball, I wake board, I snowboard, and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I live in Rexburg, Idaho. I'm currently serving a mission in Fort Worth, Texas for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints and will return in March 2014! I grew up playing all kinds of sports and narrowed it down to just football and basketball when I got to high school. In my junior year, I narrowerd it down even more to just basketball, and we won a 4A state championship my senior year! I also like to snowboard, wake board, and just hang out with my friends! I have one older brother, one younger sister, and one older sister who has three awesome kids!

Why I am a Mormon

I was born into the church but didn't always realize the importance of it. As I got older I became more involved and started to take church a little more seriously. However, I wasn't always planning on serving a mission. After going through some different things in my life I realized that a mission is what I needed to do so I could share this gospel with others. Although I wasn't always a perfect person (and still am not!), I never once questioned in my life whether or not this church is true. I've seen so many miracles in my life and have had so many powerful experiences that I know without a doubt that this church is true! The Book of Mormon is truly the word of God and anyone who will take the time to sincerely find out for themselves if it is true will feel the power that is in it, and find out that it contains the fullness of Jesus Christ's gospel. I know that God knows each and every one of us, He knows our hearts and He loves us! Because He loves us so much, He is always watching over us and wants what's best for us. Through this gospel, and through the Book of Mormon and the Bible, we can find out all of these things for ourselves and we can know that they are true. I encourage all to read out of the Book of Mormon and pray about its truthfulness and ask God if this church is true and if it's something you need in your life; and I promise that you will know! :)

How I live my faith

I try to be as Christlike as possible. Especially by being nice to everyone and being a friend to anyone who needs one. I attend church and strive to live worthily of being a representative of Jesus Christ. I make a lot of mistakes, but through a loving family and loving friends, and with Heavenly Father's help, I know I can overcome any challenge that is placed upon me.
