Hi I'm Jeewoo Lee (이지우)

I'm from Korea. (South Korea)

About Me

I am going to LDS BC, and planning to transfer to BYU Provo. I have two younger brothers. I love to draw and play a musical instrument. I can play the piano, violin, ocarina, and little bit of clarinet. I have lived in New Zealand for 2 years with my family.

Why I am a Mormon

I am just so glad that I can be a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day-saints.

How I live my faith

I never forget to pray to Heavenly father. Because that is the way to communicate with our Heavenly father.

What does Mormonism teach regarding baptism?

D&C 20:37 "...All those who humble themselves before God, and desire to be baptized, and come forth with broken hearts and contrite spirits, and witness before the church that they have truly repented of all their sins, and are willing to take upon them the name of Jesus Christ, having a determination to serve him to the end, and truly manifest by their works that they have received of the Spirit of Christ unto the remission of their sins, shall be received by baptism..." This always has been a profound scripture to me not because it’s the basic doctrine of baptism, but because it helps me to fully understand why I chose this narrow pathway. I really love this scripture because I can share it with those who think that they are not ready to be baptized because they don’t know everything yet. In this scripture, this doesn’t tell us that we have to have a perfect knowledge of the gospel. All it says is to; 1. Be humble 2. desired to be baptized 3. come forth with broken hearts and contrite spirits 4. repent truly 5. willing to take up on them the name of Jesus Christ 6. determine to serve the Lord 7. truly manifest by their works It tells us to act upon our faith. It doesn’t ask us to have a perfect knowledge of the Gospel. I know that God knows we are trying our best. His measures us different from the world. He sees us for who we are and what we try to become with his eyes. All we have to do is to remember our sacred covenants we made when we were baptized. Show more Show less
