Hi I'm David Andrews

I love mathematics and solving problems. And now I'm serving a 2 year mission because I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I enjoy spending time with my family. We love to play board games, card games, watch movies, and do puzzles, just so we can spend time together as a family. I graduated from a high school of about 900 students. In my graduating class, I was the best math and science student, partially because of the numerous Advanced Placement classes that I had taken and my ability to understand the concepts quickly. I have been raised in such a way, that there is nothing that I am really great at. I played little league baseball until I was about 9. I have played the piano since I was five and picked up saxophone when I was elevn. My family and I love to sing together, usually as my sister plays the piano. I enjoy watching old black and white movies with my family. I have attended one semester of college where I did the best I could and recieved good grades. I hope to become an engineer and help solve some of the worlds problems or issues.

Why I am a Mormon

I was born into an LDS family. My parents, grandparents, aunts, uncles, and cousins are all members. Many of my ancestors were members of church and traveled to Utah with the pioneers in the 1840's and 50's. I always went to church with my family and was baptized into the church when I was 8 years old. I have always done what I was asked and felt that I was the right thing to do. I gained a firm testimony of Jesus Christ and the church when I was about 14 when I prayed one morning when I was on a trip with my family. Being a member of this church means much to me.

How I live my faith

Throughout my youth, I participated in service projects for my community with fellow youth in my ward. I always thought that it was a great experience to be able to serve others and to get out of myself. Currently, I am serving as a missionary for two years and I'm loving it! Nothing brings as great joy as serving others and helping them build and increase their faith in Jesus Christ. I know that God, our Heavenly Father, loves each of us and enjoy sharing that with others.
