Hi I'm William Spencer

I'm an outdoorsman. I love mechanics. I'm a friend, and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am William. I have a great life. I have a wonderful family who loves me and always wants the best for me. I have learned a lot about the importance of spending time with your family and close friends. There were times in my life where family wasn't as important to me as it is now. The time we spend with our loved ones is one of the most precious gifts God gives to us in this life. I am from coastal North Carolina. I love the coast. I enjoy spending time around water, fishing, surfing, swimming, wakeboarding but my favorite thing to do around the water is hunt ducks. The most happiness that I find is through helping other people. It's not always easy to serve others, it takes a lot of humility, and it is so rewarding to see the smiles on the faces of those you help.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a mormon because I know that this church is true. I have been raised in the church my whole life but I have prayed and received a knowledge for my self of the truth. I know that The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints is Christ's church restored to the Earth again, and that it posesses the fulness of the gospel. For me this eliminates so much confusion in religion, because it is pure and true. I know that the Book of Mormon is the word of God, it is easier for me to understand and I always find ways to apply its teachings to my life. I know that we have the authority from God to act in his name, to be baptized, receive the constant companionship of the holy ghost and that we are also able to recieve other divine blessings. I am thankful for my Savior's atoning sacrifice for my sins and the opportunity I have to be forgiven. I know that one day I will be resurrected and be able to live with my Heavenly Father for eternity. I am especially thankful for the opportunity that I have to one day be sealed to my family. I know that our Heavenly Father loves each and every one of us unconditionally and wants us to be happy while we are on earth and to return to him. I am thankful for the plan he has given to all of his children, it brings so much purpose and meaning to my life while I am here on earth.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by doing my best at being an example for others. One of the biggest steps I have made in living my faith is serving our Heavenly Father for 2 years. I spent those 2 years of my life attempting to connect with anyone around me and then to share with them my testimony. I would invite as many as possible to listen to a wonderful message about God's love. I think that Christ's selfless service was one of his greatest examples for us. I try to follow that example by helping as many as I can. I attend church meetings because I know they strengthen my faith in our Savior.

What will the Mormon missionaries talk about when they visit my home?
