Hi I'm Tacey

I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am a 54 year old wife, mother of two sons and grandmother to two adorable grandchildren. I am a Certified Personal Trainer, Certified Yoga Instructor and Nutrition Specialist. My interests include cooking, nutrition, weight training and quilting...especially quilting. Quilting is my joy and my therapy. The sewing room is my favorite place in the house. Whenever I have a spare minute, it is where I can be found. I love going to the movies and dining out. Sushi is my favorite. I love to laugh and try to see the lighter side of even the most trying situations. I believe, "A merry heart doeth good like a medicine."

Why I am a Mormon

My parents joined the church when I was seven years old so basically I grew up in the faith but, that isn't why I am a Mormon. I am a Mormon because over the course of my life, I have been personally converted to the gospel of Jesus Christ. I have studied The Bible and The Book of Mormon, practiced their teachings and principles and followed the counsel of the living prophet. Because of this, I have learned for myself that this is Christ's true church. Following this gospel has given me great peace, happiness and blessings that I know I could not find in any other place.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by serving whenever and where ever I can. I currently teach the gospel to young adults through a program called Institute. I also serve once a week in one of our temples. I stay true to my standards by dressing modestly, staying clear of anything that would pollute my mind or body and seeking to share the gospel message with those around me. I am definitely not a perfect person, but I strive to follow the example of Jesus Christ in all that I do and say. When I make a mistake or fail, I turn to him with full faith that through his grace he will forgive me and help me to be better.
