Hi I'm Payton

I'm a brother, I'm a gymnast, I love all aspects of life, and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

First and most important in my life is my family, which is a large one. I am one of 8 children. Growing up in a large family has taught me many things, one of which is how to enjoy life and relax when things get hectic. growing up in a large family i had to learn to role with the punches. i learned to give more than you take. The 2nd big thing in my life is gymnastics. its not uncommon to see me do a flip or just hold a hand stand. i got into gymnastics my freshmen year in high school. If you were to ask me why i like gymnastics 10 times i would probably give you a different answer every time. its like flying. The joy if flipping through the air provides me the ability to realize there are no limits. if you want to make the sacrifices and work hard you can do the impossible. I also enjoy how the sport pushes me to reach new heights. there is a satisfaction when you land a new skill. Its one of the best feelings you can imagine. when you step up to compete its like time just slows down for a moment. it gives the ability to thing and focus on only one thing at a time. I also enjoy the great out doors. I love to do anything out side, camping, hiking, rock climbing, sailing, swimming, and just reading a book under the shade of a tree. its just great to be around Gods creations and fun to interact with them.

Why I am a Mormon

I was born in the church and had many friends in the church as well as many that are not members of my faith. Although i was blessed to have all of these blessings given to me I didn't come to a knowledge that this is Gods church on the earth today until i was about 16 years old. I wanted to know for my self if what I had been told for as long as I remembered was true. Through prayer and study I came to know that the book of Morman was true. That Jesus Christ truly did die for me. I know that God knows us better than we know ourselves and that he knew what to do to help me come to this knowledge.

How I live my faith

I feel I have been blessed to have the knowledge I have. I have seen how it has changed my life so I share it with anyone who will listen. I keep working to be a better person. I know how I should to live, and I live. I chose to follow Christ by serving others. i feel i have been blessed with good health and a strong body, so i serve others. it dosn't matter whether its spiritual, mental, or physical help. if i can help i will.
