Hi I'm Morgan

I grew up mostly in Florida. I'm an avid reader. I love art. I love to laugh. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I'm a college student, just staring out school. I am studying education--art education and physical education. I love helping others realize and obtain their potential as children of God. I enjoy exercise, especially weightlifting. I did weightlifting competitively in high school, where I learned about teamwork and reliance. I love to read and write. I also love 3D art. I also sometimes compete in art shows. I love seeing other people's work! I grew up in a big blended family, whom I love dearly.

Why I am a Mormon

I was born into a family who are members of the LDS church so consequently I was raised as a member. There came a point in my life where I had to make a decision to continue my membership or not. I made some decisions that led me away from the Church. I had a wake up call that helped me realize how unhappy, petty, and mean I had become. I looked at my friends and realized that they were much happier and more confident. I realized that they were living the gospel and their happiness was a product of that lifestyle. I chose to stay a member and more fully participate and learn. This gospel saved my life. Because of the truths that Heavenly Father teaches me by the spirit I am so much more happier, so much more productive, and a much better person. I have felt the cleansing power of the Atonement and know that Christ loves me, as does my Heavenly Father. I am so grateful for the opportunity to have this gospel in my life.

How I live my faith

Currently I lead the congregational music in church meetings. I love sharing leading hymns and singing with others. I have also helped to organize youth activities and lead some of these activities (they are so much fun!). I try to also live my faith in my everyday life. I especially enjoy serving others. I bake goodies/meals, or make cards for people. I really like doing anonymous service like sending an anonymous gift with a nice note, or heart attacking a neighbor (like ding-dong-ditch). I try to treat others as the children of god that they are, by smiling, and respecting them.
