Hi I'm Reza

I am a half Persian half Mexican, husband, father of two. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I have yet to meet someone else like me; a half-Persian/half-Mexican Mormon. I grew up in central California. I attended college in Utah, married my wife in Ohio, had our first child in Washington, D.C., and our second child in Texas. I love being outside on my road bike, I have been competing in triathlons for the last nine years. Professionally I solve problems in international logistics, and have done so for the last 8 years.

Why I am a Mormon

I know God knows who I am, and is mindful of my family. He answers my prayers, this more than anything is why I'm a Mormon. As a child my mother would take us to church when she could. She taught me how to pray, at a young age I knew that God and his Son Jesus Christ was mindful of me. This was most evident during my parents divorce. When I was ten years old my mother asked if I wanted to be baptized, and that If I wanted I would get to meet with missionaries. I can not recall a time when I doubted anything I was taught. I followed the example of Jesus Christ and was baptized.

How I live my faith

I begin and end each and every day with offering a prayer. I do not let a day go by with out reading the scriptures. I offer thanks for all that I have been given. Currently I lead our local congregations missionary effort. I try to share my witness of Jesus Christ as often as I can.
