Hi I'm Jason

I'm a Mormon. I grew up in New Hampshire, Usa. I converted to the church in 2006. I am married to a phillipina.

About Me

My hobbies are exercising like running, biking anything outdoors. I love listening to and singing music. I love nature, outdoor activities like camping and hiking, photography, I'm interested in politics, personal progression and growth. I'm happily married. This year will be our 5th wedding anniversary. We have a boy that will be 4 this month and a daughter that is 2. I have an associates degree in Architectural Engineering Technology. I work in sales. I've skied for many years, hiked many high mountains in New England. I've traveled internationally. I am enrolled at BYU Idaho Pathway Connect.

Why I am a Mormon

I'm a member of the church of Jesus Christ because in my teenage years I questioned why I was here on this earth? I wondered what was my purpose? In my young adult life I talked with many resources like my family, friends, counselors, etc to try to answer this question. Nothing or no one seemed to fill this void. In high school I became an avid member of the outing club. I climbed high mountains and felt close to god and heaven. At these peaks and ridges i felt a peace and calm that was very soothing to me. I felt like i was close to god and his heavenly kingdom. In my 30's i had achieved great things: home ownership, a management job in my career, girlfriends, good friends, but i was still not happy and fulfilled. I did not have the peace of mind I was seeking. One day in my house I began thinking about religion, god, etc. So I decided to go to St. Marie's church in Manchester, NH. I knew the Catholic faith was huge, worldwide, led by a pope. I am also fascinated by architecture. So I decided this is where I would get my religious start. I attended there for about a year and learned much about Jesus Christ. I attended church regularly, prayed diligently, and one day my prayer was answered. I got a knock on my door. I wasn't expecting anyone so i debated whether or not to answer it. I decided to see who it was. When I opened the door 2 young missionaries introduced themselves and said they have a message for me. They proceeded to teach me about Jesus Christ our Savior. They were warm and friendly and we had a great meeting. I began meeting with the missionaries regularly and learning about the Lords true church. Eventually I was baptized and after my baptism I received my testimony of the truthfulness of this church. I was given revelation from the Holy Spirit. The spirit told me that the lord sent his missionaries to my house to teach me his gospel because i was seeking him but knew not where to find him. I am forever grateful for this testimony and revelation.

How I live my faith

At my work I serve my customers to the best of my abilities. In my ward I actively participate in classes by reading, commenting, praying. Past callings have been ward missionary, activities coordinator, building scheduler, fireside coordinator. I try my best for 100% home teaching every month. I live my faith by striving to live all the commandments and covenants i have made with the lord. I try my best to be loving and caring with my friends and family.
