Hi I'm Wayne

I'm tattooed, I'm a history major, and most importantly, I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am a recent covert. I joined the church in March of 2015. I'm a student at SUNY Plattsburgh. I'm working on getting my bachelor's in history. I grew up in South Glens Falls, NY. I am married to a wonderful woman named Emily. She's my pride and joy!

Why I am a Mormon

I'm a Mormon because I know that the Book Of Mormon is true. It is the only church that makes sense. Others have pieces of the truth, but the LDS faith has the whole truth. I know through prayer and the Holy Ghost that Joseph Smith, was in fact a prophet and did restore the church onto the earth. I know that we have a prophet on the earth today. I know that this church is the true church and I have no doubts about that!

How I live my faith

I live my faith by going to church every Sunday in order to renew my covenant with the Lord. I do this by taking the sacrament and staying in good standing. I stay in good standing by not breaking the commandments given to me by God. I do not drink or smoke. I do not pollute my body. I also live my faith slightly different than others. The church has been counseled to refrain from piercings and tattoos because they desecrate our bodies (Temples). However, this is not doctrine for the church. Some people like myself, see tattoos as a way of decorating our bodies (Temples) much like the renovations that the actual Temples go through.
