Hi I'm Rob

I grew up in Dallas-Fort Worth, Texas. I am in the US Air Force & have served in Europe, Alaska, Hawaii, & Texas . I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am married and a father of two young girls. I am currently in MBA program with a concentration in Logistics Management. I enjoy cooking, computers, and sports.

Why I am a Mormon

My parents were members of the church when I was born. I was baptized when I was 8 years old. However, I fell away when I was 16 years old. Over the next 10 years, I came and went. I even attended other churches. When I was 26 years old, my sister challenged me to read the Book of Mormon. I did. Now I am proud to call myself a Mormon. A follower of Christ.

How I live my faith

I utilize the skills that I have learned in my career in the Air Force and from my college education to serve as a clerk for my branch. I had the opportunity to use the skills I had learned as a medic to serve as the emergency preparedness coordinator for my congregation. I have opportunities to develop my love of teaching through teaching Sunday School on occasion. I also have sung in the choir.

What is the role of the husband and the wife in the family?

Marriage is a partnership between husband and wife. Together they choose as equal partners how the household will be managed. They are the prime examples for their children to emulate. No one is experts in parenthood as we all come into it as rookies, but with a joint effort of the father and mother and the companionship of the Holy Ghost, all challenges can be overcome as we center our homes and lives around the Savior, Jesus Christ.
