Hi I'm Lindsey

I was born and raised in Southern California. I am a dental hygienist. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am 23 years old and I just graduate from dental hygiene school. Right now I am working for my father, who is a Dentist. Before dental hygiene school I went to Brigham Young University in Rexburg, Idaho. Idaho was a bit too cold for me so I came back home to good old southern California. I have a wonderful mom and dad and 3 beautiful sisters.

Why I am a Mormon

The gospel of Jesus Christ enriches every aspect of my life. It teaches me that I have a Heavenly Father who loves me and has a specific plan for me here on Earth. I am so grateful that I was raised in a family that taught me gospel principles and a love for my Savior, Jesus Christ. Even as a small child going through the waters of baptism, I had a personal testimony of the Book of Mormon. Fast forward 15 years later, I am still a member of the LDS Church and my testimony has grown tremedously. The gospel gives me hope, security, comfort, love, and fufillment and without it, I would be lost.

How I live my faith

Currently I am the secretary and I have the wonderful oppertunity to get to know all the girls on a personal basis. By doing this I can ask for support from other girls and help eachother to get through rough times that we all face. My calling is to make sure no one gets lost in the shuffle or forgotten. Everyone deserves to have a friend! I am also part of a planning committee that is putting together a Southern California regional conference for all of the LDS young single adults (takes place in August 2012). I also make monthy visits to girls and share a gospel message with them. On Wednesday nights we do tutoring for kids ranging from elementary school to highschool and once a month we read with children from a neighboring elementary school.
