Hi I'm Ben

I'm a volunteer fire fighter, and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I love being athletic. I play any sport that I get a chance to. I like being outdoors whether it is riding horses, motor bikes, hiking, or anything else. I am also a volunteer fire fighter.

Why I am a Mormon

I'm a Mormon because nothing brings as much joy into my life as the Gospel of Jesus Christ. I have prayed to my Heavenly Father and have come to the knowledge that He is there and that this is His church.

How I live my faith

I am a home teacher in my ward. I go to the homes of a couple of members and give them a quick message about the gospel. While we are there we also see if we can help the family in any way.

Do Mormons regard the Bible as Holy Scripture and the word of God?

Ben
Yes Mormons still think that the Bible is the word of God. The Book of Mormon is a second witness of Jesus Christ. The Book of Mormon is the the history and spiritual workings of the people on the American continent. Show more Show less

What is done with the tithing that Mormons pay?

Ben
Members are asked by the Lord to pay one tenth of their income to help build the church. Members and blessed for this by the Lord as well as their donations being a blessing to others. When we pay tithing the money is used in many ways, including: building church houses, temples, and other buildings. Providing for church operation. Funding for the missionary progam, excluding individual missionary expenses. Temple work, family history, and other church functions. It also provides money to help with education throughout the world. Show more Show less
