Hi I'm Amanda Cook

I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am a mother of three wonderful children. Two girls and a son. I am working on my BA in health care and health administration. I like to camping. I enjoy helping others by talking and sharing stories or other services like babysit or just being a good friend to those in need.

Why I am a Mormon

I believe that the book of Mormon is true. I have seen many things in my life but once I joined the church I could feel God in my house like I never could before. I have a better understanding of what family is and how to serve others. God has seen me through a great many things and, I have always felt his love and understanding. I pray and even if it is not the answer I want God gives me what I need. He has seen me through deaths and births. I understand that we should help each other and there is no better feeling than to help those in need. I have also learned to forgive and the joy of knowing that even if I am having trouble with someone God always guides me down the right path.

How I live my faith

The sisters in my church hold month meetings for all the woman to get together and share talents like cooking, canning and even parenting tips. My son is starting in cub scouts which I will help with as much as I can. My young girls about to be teens have a activites night in which the girls learn about god, how to become respectiful young ladies and hold standards which our youth today seem to lack sometimes. We go out into the commuinty and help the food pantries, personal needs and other out reach programs.
