Hi I'm Kimberly!

I'm a Mormon.

About Me

My name is Kimberly. I am a publication designer for a local newspaper. I love to paint and watch movies. I have a cat whom I love very much, and I live with my mom and sister. I like collecting books, and learning new things.

Why I am a Mormon

I started my LDS journey through a friend, who had recently started on his mission. He told me a bit about the church and told me to visit Mormon.org, so I did. I was so interested and excited about what I read that I requested missionaries to come teach me more. Since then I have met with them every week, got baptised and go to church every Sunday. I love church. I know this gospel is true, I know god loves each one of us and jesus died for our sins. I feel the spirit everyday and he guides me to do what is right. I'm so blessed to be in His church.

How I live my faith

I go to church every Sunday where I am the assistant librarian for our branch. I recently gave my first talk about who is Jesus Christ, and although I was nervous...I felt the spirit. I am planning my first trip to the temple next month, and I'm super excited to go. I visiting teach 3 girls in my branch, and I have two home teachers. I meet with elders from my home ward every week, and with the sisters from the YSA branch on Sundays. I've only been a part of this church for about a month, so I haven't had too much opportunity to participate in events, but I'm so excited to have the chance to do so in the future.

Can you tell me about Mormon customs: how you dress for church, what holidays you celebrate, etc.?

Kimberly!
I like to wear a dress to church, keeping it modest of course. Most the people who go wear dresses, or suits if they are male. But just trying to look nice is fine. I celebrate the same as I did before I became a Mormon. Christmas, Easter, birthdays and so on. Show more Show less
