Hi I'm Kim

I am a happily married mother of 4 boys, I'm a dental hygienist, I enjoy watching my kids in all their activities, & I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I grew up with 6 brothers and spent a lot of time playing sports. I was able to use 1 of those talents to get my college education paid for by playing basketball. While in college, I met my husband who at the time wasn't a member of the church. One of my goals as a young woman was to be married in the temple. Gratefully he was interested in learning more about the church and was baptized. We were married for time and all eternity in the Portland, Oregon Temple. I am a dental hygienist, working full-time to help support my family. I enjoy watching my boys play all of there sports and supporting my husband who is a girls high school basketball coach. I also enjoy coaching my kids basketball teams while they are young.

Why I am a Mormon

I grew up in the church, but found when I went to college I had to decide if what I had been taught in my youth was true. Thankfully, I came to know that my heavenly father knew exactly who I was and what my needs were and are. I am most grateful for my testimony and knowledge of his gospel. I know I am his daughter and that makes me a princess, a daughter of a king. I know my heavenly father loves me and wants me to be happy. I am most happy when I am living his commandments and striving to serve others. I want to be like my Savior, Jesus Christ. When he returns, I want him to know me because I tried to live like him. I am imperfect, but I am grateful for his atoning sacrifice, so that I can repent for my sins and live with him again someday. I know that we will have the opportunity to see God and live with him again someday, if we live according to his gospel.

How I live my faith

I currently have the opportunity to serve the youth in our church, specifically the young women. I enjoy seeing how strong many of the youth of today are. I do my best to be a good example to them as well as my own boys. I enjoy seeing the goodness in many of our young people. I enjoy coaching young kids in basketball and being able to be a positive role model for them.
