Hi I'm Janelle Cook

Yes, I am a Mormon! I live it, I know it, and I love it!

About Me

Hi, I'm Janelle! I'm a full time student working towards a bachelor's degree in nursing. I work part-time and volunteer on the side. At the end of January, I will be leaving on a full time mission to serve in the Argentina Buenos Aries West Mission! I'm very excited to have the privilege and opportunity to serve my savior and my father in heaven. I'm an out going, loving, and caring person, who loves to stay busy and productive. I live my life to the fullest and take opportunities to better myself, others and my community. I enjoy Learning, volunteering, reading, dancing, singing, and much more. I also love working out and being with friends and family.

Why I am a Mormon

I'm a Morman because I know it to be true with out a doubt in my mind! I know that I am a daugther of god and that my heavenly father loves me and loves you! I know that Jesus is the Christ, he is my savior! He suffered and atoned for my sins and everyone elses, that only through him we may be perfected. I know Joseph Smith to be a true prophet of God through whom the gospel of Jesus Christ was restored in the latter days. The Book of Mormon is the word of God. I know that by having a true desire and having a humble heart you will know these to be true. That by reading the Book of Morman and Praying fervently, having a real intent you will feel the holy ghost, that he will manifest the truthfulness of the gospel and that you will know for your self this to be true. Here is what Alma wrote about what he did: 'Behold, I have fasted and prayed many days that I might know these things of myself. And now I do know of myself that they are true; for the Lord God hath made them manifest unto me by his Holy Spirit' (Alma 5:46). This is my wish and prayer that the lord will bless you on your request for a testimony and that you will come to know that this is the true and everlast gospel!

How I live my faith

I live my faith by going to church each week, paricipate in my calling/volunteering and by going to institute, where I can learn more about Christ and build my testimony. I alway strive to be an example to others by words, conversation, deeds, and actions. I aim to become like my savior, Jesus Christ.
