Hi I'm Brittany

I grew up everywhere between Minnesota and Alabama, I am nineteen years old in colloege to be a pediatric nurse & I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am a 19 year old woman who has (I think anyways) i wild flare for life! I live on a farm out in the middle of nowhere with my Mama Daddy and Brother and Sister, we are homesteading, and i LOVE it! I fish all the time lately (and i'm pretty much brown so far this year) and i DO love it. I'm the proud owner or twenty four spastic chickens and can gut, skin, and cut a deer apart as fast and well as all the men i know. It sure makes me proud! But i'm still a lady and I just dispise pants, I only wear skirts. I LOVE children and am going to college to be a pediatric nurse because i believe that if someone is going to be taking care of children that i can be sure that at least one specialist is indeed capable of taking care of them. My biggest ambition in life is to be a mother. I look forward to the day that I am married to my eternal love, (hahaha which means i should start going on dates) and have an eternal family with him. I love life, even though i'm a little bit (a lot a bit) hesitant to invite others into my home. LOLz

Why I am a Mormon

I am a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints because my life is so much more beautiful when i'm active in the church. A few months ago i was not a part of this church, i had left it just seven years before then. My life was in chaos and i didn't want to admit i had a problem. The smoking was making me very sick and i was becoming very depressed. The depression was causing me to gain weight and become more and more sick, not only physically but emothionally. I refused that i had a problem. I wouldn't come back to church, my Mama challenged me to go to church just once. I did. I hadn't realized just how happy i was in the church. Honestly my biggest hardship today is whether or not i've fought with my family. Did i forget to do my chores. Did i read my Book of Mormon? And i can't lie, if this will be my biggest hardship today, i will never go back to hiding out in a friends basement because i'm to high to go home. I will never again become so sick that i can't get myself up to go eat. Because i fallow the word of wisdom, that my father in heaven gave to us, because he loves us and wants us to be happy. I am a member because my father in heaven loves me, and i love him, and i want to dwell in his presence after death. I am a member, because i want to be happy here on earth.

How I live my faith

I live my life in acordance to my heavenly fathers request for me to. He asks us not to be capable of doing anything and everything, but to always be willing to do what you can. Even if that is to attend church every sunday and love your neighbors as well as you can, as our savior who died for us does. I don't have the money for gas to go to and from town every day to always be in the service of my fellow members and all the others of Gods children so when i am out and about i try to live my life based off of christs love for All of his chilldren.

Can a husband and wife be together forever? Do Mormons believe that families will live together in heaven?

Brittany
Families have the opportunity to live together both here on earth and after the tempral death. The Lord our God told Joseph Smith that the “same sociality which exists among us here will exist among us there [in eternity], only it will be coupled with eternal glory” (Doctrine and Covenants 130:2) In other words if you are sealed to your family through the church of christ before death than you will be together after death. 'The Family: A Procolmation to the World' is a beaitful explanation of this if we could not answer any spacific detail that you wanted to know. Show more Show less
