Hi I'm Adam

I am a violinist, a soccer player, and a writer. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am currently studying violin performance at BYU in Provo. Music is something very close to me and a huge part of who I am and what I do. I love performing and listening to music, and attending classical concerts and recitals. I also love playing soccer, though I don't get around to it much anymore because of school and violin. I do enjoy pickup games once in a while, however. I do love to write, also when I have time, but that is rare these days. I love where my home is, in Minnesota. It is very beautiful and such a dynamic place to live. I have been truly blessed in my life, with family and friends and in what I do. I am so grateful for the gospel in my life.

Why I am a Mormon

I love this church and gospel. I have been able to come closer to my Savior Jesus Christ because of the things I have learned in this church. Reading the Book of Mormon has been huge in my learning and growth, and I know that as I continue to read and study it, it will only help me grow further. I love that this church has a living prophet on the earth. Listening to his words and the words of other apostles at General Conference every six months has been a great part of strengthening my testimony of my Savior. I am grateful for my Savior and all that He has done for me and everyone else, and I'm so glad to be a part of a gospel that teaches His loving doctrine. This church is an incredible thing to be a part of.

How I live my faith

I love attending church and being with the members. It was incredible to be at BYU and to be able to participate in church service with others my age. When I was there I was able to help with publicizing activities and events for my area of the church. I was also able and priviledged to home teach a variety of people, and being able to learn more about that calling was a great experience for me as a student. I will soon be serving a two-year mission in Russia, which I am very excited about. It will be wonderful to serve the Lord and his people in Russia. I know that serving a mission is the right thing to do in my life at this time. It will be an incredible opportunity to serve and learn and grow and help others do the same.
