Hi I'm Bryan Langston

I love spending time in Colorado: snowboarding, biking, fishing, hiking. And I love spending time with my family. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I grew up in Texas and California. I served a 2-year LDS mission in Argentina and absolutely loved it there. I met and served alongside some of the most charitable, welcoming people I have ever met in my life. Upon returning, I completed my undergraduate degree at San Diego State University with my wife. We moved to San Jose, CA to start working for IBM and we soon started a family. 15 years later, we have 4 kids, and currently live in northern Colorado. I really enjoy being outdoors, whether it's snowboarding, mountain biking, hiking, camping, hunting or fishing.

Why I am a Mormon

I'm a Mormon because I believe in Jesus Christ. I know He lives, and I know He is the Savior of the world, the Son of God. He walked the earth, and He suffered and died for the sins of the world. I also know that He established a Church here on the earth and guides it today by way of living prophets, just as He did in ancient times. I know that miracles continue today. As I've accepted the challenge to seek Him -- not just to know who He is -- I have been richly blessed. I know there is a sacred power to act in His name that He grants to us, to bless our lives and the lives of others. I have tested Christ's challenge to follow Him, and as I've done so with a humble heart, I have never been failed.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by constantly striving to help others, recognizing how and when to serve, and taking advantage of those opportunities. I am willing to bear one another's burdens. Basically, I try to following the example the Savior set. I have worked with young men going through the Boy Scout program and have been a teacher on Sundays at church. I visit a few families every month to share an uplifting message and make sure they are in good spirits. Within my own home, I strive with my wife to make my house a refuge from the problems we find all around us. We dedicate one night per week to make sure we get together to communicate, play a game, share a lesson and laugh together. We pray daily. We encourage our kids to seek the Lord in their lives, and to lean on Him for guidance the same way we as parents do. For everything my family and I have, we give thanks. We have been blessed, even more than we know.
