Hi I'm Jenna

I grew up in New Zealand. I'm a singer songwriter, a missionary and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I was born in Melbourne Australia, but consider myself a New Zealand Kiwi with the rest of my family. I am the middle child of eight children; four boys and four girls, who all love to sing and perform. I grew up in a home where music was a huge part of our lives, where we performed in shows, tours and events all over New Zealand. At high school, I taught myself the guitar and developed a passion for writing original music. I find a lot of joy in performing and creating uplifting music that inspires others. I recently graduated from the University of Waikato with a Bachelor of Media and Creative Technologies, majoring in production management and graphic design. Currently I am serving as a missionary for the Church of Jesus Christ of Later-day Saints in the South of England from May 2013 - November 2014.

Why I am a Mormon

For me being a Mormon has brought me so much joy. Through the gospel I know who I am, I know what my purpose is here on earth and I know where I want to be and how I can get there. With this knowledge I am able to live my life to the fullest. I love my family so much and knowing that I can be with them for ever makes me happier than ever. And then of course knowing my Saviour Jesus Christ atoned for me and everyone, allows me have hope for the future and know that I can make things better even if times get hard. I will always have his infinite love to lift me up. For this I am eternally grateful!

How I live my faith

At church I am one of the pianists and am an assistant to the choir director in helping to teach the choir songs of praises unto the lord. I firmly believe in the amazing power and influence music can have in someone's life. I've been able to watch as hearts have been softened and faith has been strengthen through the influence of good wholesome music.
