Hi I'm Tanya

I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am a mother of three wonderful children, they are the light of my life and what a joy to have.I work in the medical field. When I get a free moment I like to read or take my camera out to take pictures. I really enjoy photography, there is so much beauty in nature, or I take pictures of my kids at their lacrosse games. My kids ground me and I know Heavenly Father meant for me to have these particular children. What a blessing it is to be their mom.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a member of this church because for the first time in my life I feel a completeness. Throughout my whole life I always felt I was missing something and my search led me to make some wrong decisions in my life. It was not till later in my life after many trials and some that were beyond my control. While I was raised in the church I had been inactive for a very long time, although I went for a couple of months with neighbors in the year 2010. My conversation to the church came when I was heartbroken, when my pride was no longer important, my spirit was completely empty. I still had home teachers and visiting teachers who come to visit me monthly. In fact they both visited in the same week and this was the one week I had complications from a surgery, although nothing major. I knew that this was a sign and I vowed to go church the next week and when I walked in the doors I literally walked into welcoming arms of the Relief Society President. The gospel has helped me so much, shown me so much, filled my spirit so completely, and I am no longer heartbroken. It has shown me so much. I know that Heavenly Father never left me. I know that Jesus Christ died for us and we have the gift of repentance. I am so glad I finally found my way.

How I live my faith

My wonderful visiting teaching partner is great and so far having a great time teaching the ladies of our ward. We are able to spend time together, spread a lovely message and even check to see if anyone needs help. Its a wonderful thought to know that someone truly does care for you. I also have a calling as a Mia Maid adviser. What a great calling teaching these wonderful girls has been so far. I love it.
