Hi I'm Nicole

I live in Philadelphia with my wonderful family. I am a stay at home mom but most importantly, I'm a Mormon.

About Me

We recently moved to the Philadelphia area from Utah. It is fun to experience a different part of this country. It sure is a different world here on the East coast, but I love it. I have a fabulous husband and 3 beautiful children. They are very young and I have the opportunity to stay at home with them. It is so much fun, but it is a lot of work. I learn so much from my children. I learn to laugh, cry, play, get excited, forgive, and most importantly how to love. It is amazing. I feel blessed to have them. Family is so important to me. I grew up in a very close family and I hope to raise a very close knit family as well. I also am a nurse. I worked in the Dermatology field for many years. I miss it, but I am fortunate enough to stay at home with my children right now. When my kids get older I look forward to working again so I can meet new people, hear their stories, and learn from them.

Why I am a Mormon

I wasn't always active in the church, but I had great examples all around me. They were all so happy and made so many good choices that it made me curious. One day I decided to read the Book of Mormon. I fell in love with the enchanting stories. I read it fairly quickly. At the end I decided to test out Moroni's promise that if you will ask Heavenly Father in faith, if the book is true, He will answer your prayer. I will never forget the feeling that rushed over me as I knelt down to pray. I felt so warm inside and a voice inside my head told me what was in that book was true. I felt so loved at that moment. I knew that my Heavenly Father cared enough about me to answer my prayer. I never looked back. I am now an active member of the church and always will be. My faith makes me who I am today. I am happy because I know what I can to do to be with my family for eternity. What a blessing it is to have this knowledge and to know that is possible because of our loving Heavenly Father and His son, our Savior, Jesus Christ. I know and have felt of His love. And I know that He loves all of us.

How I live my faith

The leaders of the church teach us that family is the central part of God's plan. Nothing is more important than our families. Teaching my family and friends that we are all here for a purpose and that we all have the opportunity to return to live in Heaven together is the most important way I can live my faith. My church is very important to me. It is so much more than going to church every Sunday. It provides many opportunities to serve others. I now have the opportunity to teach the youth about the scriptures. It is such an amazing experience to study and learn more about the scriptures. I also have the opportunity to serve with and visit with three women in my church. It is comforting to know that I can also call on any members of my church if I am in need.
