Hi I'm Lauretta Chastaine Jenkins

I grew up in Idaho, I served 6 years in the US Navy. I have a Bachelors degree in Project Management. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

Hello! I am a single adult who has recently discovered the True Church. I have always considered myself to be spiritual, but it wasn't until I opened my heart to the Book of Mormon and the teachings of Jesus Christ that I became a true follower. I love everything that the LDS church standsfor. I do not regret my decision to give my life over to our Lord and to adapt the LDS Life style. I am not a Convert.. I am a Conversation!

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because the Lord led me to his church through friends and prayer. I was at a point in my life where I had no direction. My focus was to work and then I would go home and play video games. I felt that there was so much more to life, but I didn't know how to find it. One evening I was sitting on my bed and I said a prayer to the lord asking for direction and focus. It wasn't until moments later I had the urge to go speak to my roomate (who happens to be LDS) I asked her if I could attend Church with her. WIth a glad heart she said yes and the next Sunday I began the process to make the best decision of my life.

How I live my faith

I live my faith through service and kindness. I read the scriptures when I can. I am always hungry for knowledge and the love, tender mercies and blessings the Lord bestows on me. As a new "Conversation" the newness of this all is overwhelming yet satisfying at the same time.
