Hi I'm Kjersti Jones

I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I just finished my senior year of college at a smaller university in Southern Utah. I love it there, but won't be back for four semesters because I am currently serving a full-time mission! I am almost done with my Missionary Training Center (MTC) experience and will be going to the California Riverside Mission, Spanish speaking in just a few weeks! Learning more about the Gospel and learning a new language is difficult, but I know as I work hard and am obedient, the Lord will bless me. I am so excited to be serving the Lord for 18 months, and I feel especially blessed to be serving in such an exciting time of missionary work! I love love music...in fact, I am a pretty big nerd ( for instance, sometimes I analyze hymns in church....). I love singing and playing my violin. Bluegrass music is probably the best thing ever. I love teaching violin and voice as well. I love racquetball, basketball and softball along with anything outdoors: hiking, camping, boating, and BBQing! :)

Why I am a Mormon

I am Mormon because I have felt the Spirit bear testimony to me that it is true. The Gospel of Jesus Christ is what gives me hope for the future, and is what inspires me to do good so that I can return to live with Heavenly Father and Jesus Christ again.

How I live my faith

I try to live my faith by being an example to those around me. This summer I have had the opportunity to travel all over the Midwest, USA as an EFY (Especially For Youth, a church youth camp) counselor. There have been many missionary opportunities and as the summer has gone on I have built more confidence in taking the chance to share the Gospel. This has been a huge blessing in my life, especially as I prepare to share the Gospel full-time.
