Hi I'm Lynlee

I grew up in Utah, I lived in Africa, I am serving in the Boston Massachusetts Mission, and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I went to school to become a CNA, EMT, and Phlebotomist. I lived in Africa and did humanitarian work. I then switched career paths and was working as a Paralegal. Shortly after the career change, I realized I needed to go on a LDS mission!

Why I am a Mormon

I'm a Mormon because I know the Book Of Mormon is true, I know that Joseph Smith is a true prophet and that he did see God the Father and Jesus Christ. I was born and raised in the Church Of Jesus Christ of Later Day Saints. My Mother has an amazing testimony. She has taught me so much. When I got old enough I had to gain my own testimony. When I was eight years old I had a testimony that this church is true. I gained my own testimony and wanted to be baptized. I love that I got to choose to be baptized at the age of eight. I am so happy I have made that decision! It has changed my life. I find some days really hard to get through. I love that I know that God is there for me and that I can pray and ask for guidance. I am so lucky to have the Gospel in my life!

How I live my faith

I live my Faith by following Christ example. I try to live every day to the fullest. When I was 16 years old I found out that I had heart failure and a tumor in my brain. I had to go through the heart surgery but through a lot of praying and faith, the tumor disappeared. I know that I am in Gods hands. I know that everything works out for a reason. I see so many miracles daily. Everyday my faith develops and grows stronger. Growing up I never thought I would serve a mission. I remember promising myself that I would never serve a mission because I want to work on my career. That promise was broken! I wasn't even looking for an answer to go on a mission. But one day I got the strongest feeling "I needed to be on my mission right now!" I got my papers in as soon as possible and got my call to Boston Massachusetts Mission! I know that Heavenly Father sent me here to Boston for a reason. I have a purpose and that is to, Invite others to come unto Christ by helping them receive the restored Gospel through Faith in Jesus Christ and His Atonement, Repentance, Baptism, Receiving the Gift of the Holy Ghost and Enduring to the End. I know that this Gospel is true, I know that Christ dead for all of us and that God has a plan for everyone. I am so thankful to have the opportunity to serve the Lord and his people in Boston!
